Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Restaurants Manager to lead and oversee our restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and a track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations of the hotel’s restaurants, ensuring efficient service and high standards.
  • Lead and motivate a team of restaurant staff, including training and development.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Implement strategies to maximize revenue and improve profitability.
  • Oversee menu planning in collaboration with the culinary team.
  • Monitor and manage inventory, ordering, and stock control.
  • Address customer feedback and maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar managerial role in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A customer-focused approach with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Greek or other languages is an advantage.

Leptos Calypso Hotels Ltd, which forms part of the Leptos Group, is seeking to recruit a skilled and experienced Group Assistant Chief Engineer with a background in building management and sustainability to join our hotel group. The successful candidate will work closely with the Group Chief Engineer to manage and coordinate engineering activities across our hotels, with a focus on building management and sustainability initiatives. The successful candidate will be based at the Coral Beach Hotel & Resort in Peyia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Chief Engineer in managing the hotels’ engineering activities, including building maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
  • Develop and implement sustainability initiatives, such as energy and water conservation programs, waste reduction strategies, and green building practices.
  • Monitor and analyse building systems, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors, ensuring quality work and timely completion of projects.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in all hotels across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Assist in the preparation and management of engineering budgets and timelines.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to other departments, including Operations and Facilities Management.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and procedures.
  • Manage and oversee a team of engineers and technicians across the hotels.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Building Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be considered an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in building management and sustainability, preferably in a leadership role within the hotel industry.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in hotels.
  • Familiarity with sustainability and green building practices and standards specific to the hotel industry.
  • Experience managing and coordinating complex projects and timelines across multiple hotel locations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others across the hotels.
  • Experience with budget preparation and management across multiple hotels.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations and standards specific to the hotel industry.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to manage and mentor a team across the hotels.

The Group Assistant Chief Engineer will work in an office and hotel environment, with frequent travel required to different hotel locations across Paphos. This role may require working irregular hours or being on call to address emergencies.
